Thank you for your interest in purchasing a Brittany puppy from Susan and Alan Ott and K River Kennels. We look at our pets as members of the family and therefore want to insure they go to the best possible homes. To insure they go to the right homes we ask all prospective purchasers to complete the attached Application from and return to us as soon as possible. We understand that bringing a dog into your home is a lifelong commitment to the dog and we take that very seriously.

Once we have received and reviewed your application we will contact you to let you know. Please understand our most important objective in placing puppies out of our dogs is to insure the home matches the temperament and general personality of the puppy. Therefore there have been and will be times where a prospective owner is set on a particular color and sex and if in our opinion your needs and surroundings do not match what we feel would be best for the puppy we reserve the right to not sell you that particular puppy.

We will make every effort to present to you the puppy or puppies that best match your needs. We are around the litter every day and do a series of temperament tests that gives us a real good idea of each puppy’s dominance in the litter, activity level, temperament, disposition and overall qualities.

Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to send us a $100.00 deposit. The deposit allows us to have somewhat of an order of who has the first, second and so on opportunity to purchase a puppy. The balance of the money will be paid at the time the puppy goes home. In the event there is not a puppy that you are comfortable with or matches your needs we will gladly return your deposit check or hold it towards a future litter.
