If you are wanting to understand how to build a better relationship with your hunting partner as well as improve their skills this is the seminar for  you.  Limited to 6 owners and their dogs, this will be a hands on seminar.  Dogs should be at least 8 months of age and ideally had some level of training or hunting already. We will be focusing on basic skills as well as honoring/retrieving and other more advanced topics.


We will start at 7:30 a.m. and finish somewhere around 3:00. with lunch provided.  The seminar size will be limited to 6 owners and their dog so please contact me early if you are interested in attending.

 

                                                                             Topics to include:                            

Encouraging your dog to point birds the natural way

Work on communicating with your dog to hold its point until released

Improving the "balance" in the relationship between you and your dog

Effective use of an electronic collar

Gun conditioning young dogs if neccessary

Introducing honoring another dogs point

Improving their retrieving skills, introducing water retrieves

Locating crippled and dead birds

Improving effective communication with your dog using the electronic collar.

Introducing "stop to flush" to insure your dog stops on  all wild flushes

 

Cost is $125.00 per person
